Digital Twin
A digital twin is a dynamic virtual replica a physical asset, connected through live data. This innovative technology enables real-time monitoring, simulation, and optimisation throughout the asset's lifecycle. Leveraging digital twins can enhance performance, predict maintenance needs, and drive efficiencies in operations.

During the Design & Engineering phase, a digital model is utilised to simulate, test, and optimise the design prior to physical construction. This approach facilitates risk reduction, performance validation, and fosters innovation. This process is commonly referred to as Digital Prototyping or Simulation Twin.
Once the physical asset is constructed, it is equipped with sensors that transmit live data to the digital twin. This allows for real-time, predictive maintenance, remote control, and "what-if" scenario analysis. This operation is known as the Operational or Live Twin.
